Sound design and score
Shooting Sid is a 2026 film directed by Jaime Zevallos, who also directed The Sale. Scott Esterly designed its sound and wrote its score, building the time travel sounds from scratch for a story that moves between comedy and thrills. In his own words, below, it is his latest sound design.
“Shooting Sid is my latest sound design. I think it demonstrates my sound design skills along with my music composing. It was rewarding designing time travel sounds from scratch, and writing a score that would accompany a multifaceted genre with comedy and thrill.”
